An identity built to adapt
Weav needed a visual language that could work across a growing AI product, from product-led communications and digital experiences to campaigns, social content and everyday brand materials.
The challenge was to create something with enough structure to remain consistent, but enough freedom to evolve. It needed to feel intelligent and technology-led, while still being memorable and full of personality.
Instead of building the identity from a collection of separate graphic elements, we created one simple idea that could expand across the entire brand.
More than a logo
At the centre of the identity is the new Weav mark. Constructed from a series of individual lines weaving together, the symbol creates a subtle connection back to the company name while giving the brand a visual signature.
The logomark was never designed just to live only in the corner of a layout, Its individual lines could separate, repeat, stretch, rotate, allowing the logo to behave differently depending on the application. In its simplest form it works as a recognisable icon. Expanded, it becomes pattern, texture, movement and imagery.
The logo became the building block for the entire visual system.
A system with range
We developed the wider identity to balance brand moments with the more functional needs of an AI product.
Bold colour, graphic patterns and human photography give Weav energy and personality, while a more restrained typographic and layout system creates clarity around product messaging and UI.
The result is a system that can dial itself up or down depending on the context.
A brand designed to evolve
The refreshed identity gives Weav a system that can grow alongside its product. what began as a new logo became a much broader toolkit, a recognisable language that can move across product, digital, photography, social, campaigns and motion while always feeling connected.
Flexible enough to continuously evolve, but distinctive enough to always feel like Weav.
